St. Louis arch has brilliant architecture. Many don’t know that they literally built from 2 sides, and hoped they could meet at the top with the precision to join the sections. Obviously it worked out! Considering the lack of technology in 1963-65, When one says they don’t build it like they used to, this is a perfect example.
